WinWeb Pitch of the Week – Nyoki Handmade London 
This weeks’ winner of the WinWeb Pitch of the Week competition is Nyoki Handmade London – a children’s’ clothing label inspired by a mother and daughter, who combine their individual talents to create beautiful handmade products. We spoke to Njomza, founder of Nyoki Handmade London about her small business:
“The inspiration for Nyoki Handmade London came from my childhood in Kosovo. In Kosovo handcrafting is a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation, with beautiful pieces being made along the way. Seeing all the wonderful things we were creating and passing on made me think that we should pass the beautiful creations from this crafting as a gift to someone we don’t know; and that is how the idea for Nyoki was born.
We realised that whilst in Kosovo crafting is a tradition, here many people do not have the skill, or the time, to produce beautiful gifts for their loved ones. Nyoki Handmade offers people the opportunity to give the people they love, something to treasure, and all of our products are designed to stand the test of time.
Nyoki Handmade products are designed in London and handmade in both London and Kosovo. We are very proud to be working closely with job creation programs in Kosovo, giving female survivors of the war the confidence and financial means to support themselves and their families. Every time someone buys one of our products, they are helping to rebuild the lives of these women and their families.
Nyoki Handmade London offer gifts that are unique and special; we hope that we inspire our customers to find something for their loved one that is something a bit different to traditional gifts. We strive to help then find that perfect, special, item that conveys their love and affection and that can be treasured and passed down for generations to come.
Our style is eclectic, with a combination of vintage, traditional and contemporary gifts. Every single item of our collection, however, is eco-friendly, meaning that we have been recommended by The Green Parent Magazine as one of the “Five Best natural Clothing Brands for Babies”, and has won us many accolades from magazines ranging from Junior Vogue to Living Magazine.
With a growing customer base, including many celebrities, we believe the future of our business is bright; and feel thrilled that we can help less fortunate people at the same time.”
