As kids and teenagers, they dont need to worry about finance and paying mortgages or making sure that their credit isnt off limits. Then comes college and they just have to grow up and face certain responsibilities, not just academic ones, but also financial.

When people talk about cheap loans, what does it mean? Does it mean lower interest rates? Could cheap loans mean small regular payments? Alternatively, is it cheap because even a small amount of money can pay it off? There are several types of loans people can apply to via a loan comparison, depending on their needs, and their payment abilities. However, its being cheap may vary depending on the type of loan.

The first example is a secured loan. This type of loan will require you to risk an asset that has a bigger value than your loan such as your house. The payments may be lower because lenders will consider you a safe borrower. Since you are a safe borrower for the lender, you can get lower minimum payments in a longer span of time as compared to unsecured financial aids. The second one is the unsecured loan and it is the opposite of the first one in many aspects. You do not have to have collateral before you are approved of the loan but the interest can be higher than a secured loan. Read all post…

Apple, Inventor Face Off Over driPhone

Apparently one I can make a big difference if you choose to name a product with the word phone in it. At least, that is what driPhone recently discovered.

Apple, through a Wellington-based patent firm, told Hayden Crowther it was opposing his application to trademark the driPhone name in New Zealand because it is too similar to its ubiquitous iPhone product.

It has also suggested he change the letter `i to a `y to avoid confusion.

But Mr Crowther told Fairfax Media he was not intimidated by the situation and thought Apples case had little weight.

Mr Crowther said he would continue to register his trademark in New Zealand and the rest of the world. He has until April 1 to respond to Apples opposition.
